GAIL KRISTOLINA ROPER (nee HALLDORSON) It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of our beloved wife, mother and grandmother, Gail, at the age of 66 years. Gail passed away peacefully the evening of Friday, April 21, 2006, surrounded by her husband, son, daughter and Pastoral Care of Riverview Heath Centre. Remaining to forever cherish in Gail's memory are her husband, children and grandson along with numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her mother Olive; father Halldor; sister Joan and brother John. Gail's proudest accomplishment was that of her family. She married her husband Raymond in May, 1960; together they raised son Stephen (born May, 1967) and daughter Tabatha (born August, 1969). Her grandson Andrew was born to Stephen and daughter-in-law Faith in May, 1999. A private family graveside service will be held in Brookside Cemetery. The family would like to thank the excellent staff at Riverview Health Center C-D1 for the wonderful care given to Gail in the last months of her life. In lieu of flowers, donations in Gail's memory may be made to the Lung Association, Riverview Health Center or a charity of one's choice.
